At Collaborative Psychiatry, we create short, high-yield audio episodes, or QuickTakes, and in-depth CME-accredited Audio Courses to help primary care providers and outpatient clinicians manage psychiatric conditions more confidently and effectively.
This page explains how access works: what’s free, what’s gated, and what you get at each level of membership.
Free Content
We want you to get a real taste of what we offer.
- All QuickTake episode audio is freely available on major podcast streaming apps through our public podcast feed Collaborative Psychiatry QuickTakes. No sign-up required, just search for our feed and start learning.
- The online content associated with a few of the QuickTake episodes each season (normally gated to paying subscribers) is completely free when you sign up for a free membership. You’ll get full access to:
- The QuickTake audio streams
- Extensive, high-yield Show Notes
- Downloadable clinical tools, resources and patient handouts
- Free Members also gain access to our introductory Audio Course on Anxiety Management: What To Do When An SSRI Isn’t Enough, via a private podcast feed in order to get an idea what our Audio Course experience is like.
- If you like, when you sign up for a Free Membership, we’ll add you to our mailing list to get occasional Practical Pearls delivered straight to your inbox — bite-size learning that you can quickly translate into practice.
All QuickTake episodes — including those with gated content on the website — are available freely through your favorite podcast app. However, the full episode summaries and downloadable tools are only available to subscribers (free or otherwise) through our website.
You don’t need to create an account to listen, but if you want to access the free content or preview our other resources, you’ll need to create a free account.
QuickTake Membership
Our QuickTake Membership is the easiest way to stay current with mental health management in primary care.
For a small monthly or yearly subscription, you’ll get everything in the Free tier, plus full access to every episode’s companion material as soon as the episodes are released:
- Listen to all QuickTake episodes in your podcast app
- Access detailed Show Notes and transcripts through the website
- Download printable pdf tools and handouts: flowcharts, patient handouts, and other decision aids
- Additionally, you’ll have access to our back catalog of PracticalPearls–the quick-access visual tips and tools we send out in our emails
QuickTake episodes are released every other week during each season and are designed to fit into your workflow — listen on-the-go and download resources directly from our site for use in clinic.
Full Access CME Membership
Full Access is designed for clinicians who want structured, ongoing psychiatric education.
Members receive immediate access to our full library of CME-accredited Audio Courses, delivered in an easy-to-consume podcast format. Start a course on your commute, finish while you’re charting, and then submit for CME.
Unlike QuickTakes, Audio Course content is gated and available exclusively to Full Access CME Members (or as individual course purchases) through private podcast feeds.
As a Full Access CME Member, you receive:
- Streamable Audio Course content available online or through a private podcast feed for each course
- Downloadable tools and handouts for every course: flowcharts, prescribing frameworks, patient handouts, and clinical decision aids
- Access to CME credit for accredited courses
- Immediate access to all current Audio Courses

At least three new CME-accredited courses are released annually, expanding the library over time while your membership rate remains the same.
